Post Partum Herbal Bath

An effective blend of certified organic herbs for mom and baby right after childbirth.

Plantain helps with hemorrhoids. Chamomile reduces inflammation. Shepherd’s Purse helps to prevent and control bleeding. Uva Ursi is an astringent and antiseptic. Sea Salt and garlic are aseptic and antibacterial.

Each bag contains enough for 2 baths. Best used right after birth. Mom and baby may soak together in the tub as long as they are comfortable. Herbal combination helps babies cord. May also aid with water retention during pregnancy.

Instructions: You will need a pot big enough to hold 2.5 litres of water. Bring water to a boil. Open both sachets and empty contents into the water. Cover and reduce heat, let simmer for half an hour. Turn heat off. Let stand overnight. Using the 2 sachets that the herbal bath comes in, strain equal amounts of herb through the bags. Tie off each bag and place in fridge. You can then use the sachets (one time use) to apply to perineum to help with swelling, sore perineum. Pour liquid into 2 equal amounts (I suggest 1 litre mason jars). Place mason jars in the fridge until needed. May keep in fridge for up to 5 days. May also make ahead and freeze (I suggest 1 litre yogurt containers if freezing). Place herbal water into your bath. This is enough for 2 baths.
